She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Indeed! All these are classics. I believe it was Dennis Leary who started my love affair with comedy. His earlier stuff was amazing.
And of course, the late, great George Carlin.
I think Posehn and I could hang.
I think Carlin is my favorite of all time. Maybe a tie with him and Robin

Tell you another one I love. This guys's boss

So you're saying the ones I have now that are about 12 weeks or so are going to die soon?

No, that's not what I am saying. I am only saying they have not been developed to live much past their ideal weight...which is typically achieved at 7-8 weeks old. I don't know if they have studied what happens to the breed grown till natural death, I would be surprised if they have done such research. Consider the F1 Hybrid plant. They know that seed from such plants are unpredictable. I think they believe the same is true of this really fast growing meat birds...but its merely an opinion based on the information the hatchery provides; "Restricting feed will prevent them from growing too quickly for their legs and hearts"....

Once upon a time, SC asked for some Wheaten Ameraucana pics.... My pair that hatched from my "gift eggs" that came with my Orloff eggs: You can see the male feathering in with the darker feathers already And then my sole survivor of an order of 6 shipped eggs that spent an extra day travelling around Albuquerque. This is the "Neuro Chick" that was a stargazer after an assisted hatch. And of course, the Orloffs just for good measure and because I love them... Big size discrepancy, I think I have a pair.
They are beautiful!
I will be borrowing a incubator in a few days. I will be setting a few of my own EE/Cochin bantam, OEGB/ Cochin Bantam , Mille Fleur D Uccle / Cochin Bantam eggs. I havent set eggs in a couple years, since my homemade cooler bator that was a total failure.
Definitely keep posted as you set up the incubator. You're in the right place for any questions you have along the way!
Same! Ha! Happy 8 day! I think of this every time I have to gauge my pain. There is always Eatwild, locallygrown, or localharvest(.coms, )
I think of that too when I gauge my pain! I've actually been in the ER and had those same thoughts when they ask for a 1 to 10, that's why I think it's so funny! I will look into those websites for the meat birds. Thank you!

Yep from the looks of Damien, on some dumplings might be a good spot for him to land. Just the picture of that bird scared me.

If Damien had gone after Amy's eye, he would have pulled it out and made her look at herself

I can't wait to see those when they feather out! I was torn between Wheaten and BBS. I just got lucky on the BBS, so now we can compare notes
