She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

True. Guess it depends on what week they arrive

I'd be offended if that wasn't funny - and true.

Here is a short video of Big Mama, my BBB hen, meeting Mona, the rescued BBW hen, through the fence. Turkeys have a huge range of vocalizations and I've never heard these before. The four young bronze turkeys were accepted into the flock without a word, so this was a dominant hen debate.

That is amazing! I have not heard all that before when introducing new ones into my turkey. The hens will make some vocal noises but nothing like this.

Do they get along now?

Mona (the newcomer) is very demure and spends much time in a quiet corner until I come in. Big Mama really thinks she owns the place and she keeps the young ones in check when she can reach them. But she is about as graceful as a beach ball on a roller skate, so they just dodge and weave. Mona is like a cement mixer in the coop, she just barrels through, so she does fire up Big Mama once in a while.

I just want these two monsters for eggs in the spring. They are sweethearts, though.

And a nice looking egg it is too!! How old are they now?
And congrats by the way!!! lol

Isn't it so pretty! They are 17 weeks. I'm just over the top because its my first one. I'm so proud! lol

My white silkies should lay white eggs, right? So this is from one of my comets. I've seen one or two squatting a couple of times. Noticeably yesterday evening when the turkey walked up behind one! LMAO.... it was cute
