I thought I'd lost the first post. sidewings gearing up to go to the show .can't wait to hear all about that first trip SW keep us posted . we have a newbie who shows on thread What I read said call her POlK or was IT POKE and then a new DUCKLING but I can't remember what to call her .the ponds getting bigger Ducks are all over the place WV I know your loving it .almost forgot my Neighbor Hi. Mine lay pretty dark... lots of demand around here... but not sure if I can keep them due to finances... they're first up for cuts, lol...

mind gets pretty foggy with age culling should be done as quick as possible I know this sounds bad and I'm sorry but take the head off as quick as you can grasp the body and pull the head off with your hand older birds use a ax large knife or whatever you have I've posted this before my mother could grab a chicken by the head wring its neck and crack it like a whip and the head would come right off the body. It would bleed out quickly when done this way .
