She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Oh, her name's Hellen Keller? Then it's easy to make her stop screaming. Put mittens on her

I have never heard one scream quite like that, but I did have a BR in the girls only pen that used to try and crow. That was creepy...
That's a good one.

I'm sort of regretting this whole peachick experience. I didn't realize what "imprint" really entails. These chicks are getting BIG. I've been putting them in a cage outside of the chicken run for a week. Trying to let them interact with other birds. Well yesterday I put them in the actual run. They stayed at my feet, starring up at me, crying. I told them go make friends & threw a bunch of worms on the ground. No luck. Then they were all riled up when I brought them inside for bed. Pacing the cage in a panic. I opened the door to the cage and sat on the couch to see what they wanted. All 3 of them flew out of the cage. One landed on each shoulder and the last one flew right on top of my head! I felt like Ace Ventura! They definitely have identity issues. And they make me feel a nut case! Feeling guilty about getting rid of them but don't know how much longer I can deal with this insanity.https://www.backyardchickens.com/content/type/61/id/7035984/width/200/height/400[/IMG]

Poor friend! Dont let them get any worse! My BR turkeys are like 4 1/2 months and when i tell u they suffer seperation anxiety?! These types of poultry are social to an amazing degree!

I know im MAD and thats okay but like you would a puppy, i have been socializing the pair i intend to keep for breeding. Seperation training is going to need to b a part of that and thanks cuz i realize it now!

They cried outside my backdoor yesterday afternoon for 20 minutes because one had gone over the lil fence and Desired rescuing... I didnt even have them until they were 6-8 wks old, so its not even as bad as yours would be!

I know you said you were wanting to stick with the bantams. I vote d'uccle. I have some I could send you, but honestly you could get better quality birds. I would like to see what you could do with some SOP mille fleurs. They are beautiful little birds with great personalities

I love the mille fleur pattern! I guess I will just have to see what is available next week. I won't get the bator until the 17th. But its about time I start looking.

About an hour away. We have more TSCs than Starbucks

We have several TSCs also... but Rural King is the awesomest!

There's a Southern States close to my camp. Its ok, but its small.
