I have never heard one scream quite like that, but I did have a BR in the girls only pen that used to try and crow. That was creepy...

I'm sort of regretting this whole peachick experience. I didn't realize what "imprint" really entails. These chicks are getting BIG. I've been putting them in a cage outside of the chicken run for a week. Trying to let them interact with other birds. Well yesterday I put them in the actual run. Poor friend! Dont let them get any worse! My BR turkeys are like 4 1/2 months and when i tell u they suffer seperation anxiety?! These types of poultry are social to an amazing degree!

I know im MAD and thats okay but like you would a puppy, i have been socializing the pair i intend to keep for breeding. Seperation training is going to need to b a part of that and thanks cuz i realize it now!

They cried outside my backdoor yesterday afternoon for 20 minutes because one had gone over the lil fence and Desired rescuing... I didnt even have them until they were 6-8 wks old, so its not even as bad as yours would be!

I love the mille fleur pattern! I guess I will just have to see what is available next week. I won't get the bator until the 17th. But its about time I start looking.

We have several TSCs also... but Rural King is the awesomest!

There's a Southern States close to my camp. Its ok, but its small.
