You are very close. Tate is leaner, maybe a little longer necked, and not as full a tail. I think he carries it well, though. I just need more substance and a little less color. He has some fat hens and one is almost black. I'm hoping there is a good mix in there

I'd be all over goggle Hun, if I was going through this. Just start typing in exactly whats going on and read, read, read. Wish I could help, but I do t know.

think you have a better than average ebay seller there I've arrive packed every you can think of packed in a carton with shredded newspaper in the carton and all around it was the worst one when it arrived the box was dented not a single mark on it but none of the eggs were cracked or broken it only traveled 200 miles I don't think it would have made the trip yours made . I  worry you setting so soon after travel I wait a full 24 hrs.

Some eggs were laid on July 30. So I was planning on letting them rest 12 hrs, then setting. They were cool to touch when I got them. They are on the counter. The temp in the house slowly rises throughout the day and then slowly falls over night. I always figured to set them at night before temps start falling again. What's the benefit of waiting another 12 hrs? Oh, and they will be upright in the bator and not touched for a minimum of 5 days.

It's a great morning! I woke up to a heaping 12 beautiful ducklings. Started with 18 eggs five were not fertile out of the 13 eggs all hatched except 1. I candled it but there is no internal pip...should I open it a tad?

I started asking shippers NOT to put any stickers on the box. I think that's why they get lost and some USPS employees have admited to throwing them out of spite. My 11 out of 14 hatch came from 1300 miles away and had no stickers. I read about the no sticker thing here on BYC and I will always go that route.

That's interesting. I'd love to see some statistics on that.

Wow just wow. This is how to ship eggs every body. These eggs are pristine. Only one air sac has a slight wobble and are all tiny. I can't see anything in the marans though.
I am so happy, I welled up just a little while unpacking them. I just can't praise Ravyn enough. Thank you so much.

Just beautiful. They all felt cool to touch. They will sit on kitchen counter until I set them in the incubator tomorrow morning.

I am absolutely amazed by the brilliant packaging and not one detached air cell. Bloody marvelous!

I wait 12 hrs and set before bed. I'm happy we are hatching together too! So is SC!

I'd like to suggest that we do a round of shipping eggs this spring.  If others are up for it, I'm game.

yeah looks like there could be a little more chicken there but he still has time to grow . from the looks of the over lay I have one that needs gone and one that's a keeper. both are from different breeders eggs. one here in Tn. and one from ILL.which I'm not happy with.

they came with dates that's good mine never have I just wait 24 hrs most people say 12 to 24 So I go long that's just me no rights or wrongs here so if I say something really stupid I'm not wrong. I like that but I'm not right either no wonder I'm confused all the time play time is over things to do the rain has stopped .
