I did...SC: don't you have at least 85% in your Brinsea???
I've never hatched 100%, but my silkies have. I've hatched as low as 50% and my silkies haven't. My silkies are at 85% because I am totally hands off with them. I don't mark eggs, so I don't remove eggs new to the nest. I get that percentage from unhatched eggs left in the nest. If I meticulously guarded their eggs and kept each girl on only the original eggs set I think their percentages would be north of 95%
I have a question I have an EE she is a little over a year old and has yet to lay a egg . the question is what will make a chicken unable to lay. I read that a Cornish cross if hatched late in year would not lay . so should I eat this chicken .even though she's the only pet of the bunch or give her more time . might have to scratch that wife and daughter say not no but with great emphasis no .so I'm stuck with this chicken.![]()
Did she have access to layer feed or oyster shells as a youngster? The extra calcium can mess up their reproductive systems
I'm trying not to do that so much....trying...Eta:spelling. Don't wanna give SC any fuel in the morning.![]()
So did you stick it in your bra and let it finish hatching?![]()
You girls have got to stop! I've had a minimum of 6 replies for every one of these

Yes I amyou forget he's a big old teddy bear

I can't for 2 reasons.

2. I don't do non innapropes
The last one is blurry, but all the others look single to me
