and the floor and the turner . my wife wanted to know If it smelled like sulfur when I told her about this morning . heck no smelled like a rotten egg. nothing smells like a rotten egg but a rotten egg . natural gas does not smell like a rotten egg. Might say I've broke as many gas lines as I have rotten eggs which is a bunch one of those gas lines cost me $500.00 learned not to trust plumbers after that.
Eewwwwww

That's pretty cool about the Bobcat, @BYC910 Didn't know you could speak things into existence. Now speak it out!

FYI. No progress on the pipped egg. Still same size hole on the shell and I dont hear the chick chirping like I did earlier in the day. Cause for concern? Do I intervene? Crossing fingers

You know, it just dawned on me, I now have progression pics of Tate

Admittedly I don't know squat about SOP for BCM. I think he is a very handsome roo, but I still think that he is lacking depth through the keel. His width appears much improved over his juvenile photos but it's hard to tell how much is hackle and how much is body.

So...count his flaws...comb, color, conformation. Count his features...

Is he at least 75% of where you want your flock to be? If not, he's a backyard roo to put in an EE pen. If you want the best birds, start with the best birds and go from there. Breeding what you know isn't what you want because it's what you have can really stretch out the improvement program.
