you find any tracks yet read up on trapping although this one seems to be bold whatever it is .there are ways to set an rules to follow for a successful trap. all my runs are covered but there was a possum eating the cats food on the porch last night . so now I worry about the chicks in growers haven't poured concrete floors yet so my doors are high enough for varmints to get under. have you tried a critter cam yet .might poison the wrong thing. you have a chicken killer and It won't stop do whatever it takes to kill it.

Nothing yet. It seems to only come out very late night/early morning. I'm going to get it and read up on things. I've been awfully under the weather the past few days, but as soon as I'm up that thing is going down.

Trail camera would be a good idea, if you have one. What's the bait? Could it be mice or snakes or something, since you can't find tracks? Good luck!

I've used tuna, dead chicken(how I caught the opossum), grilled chicken legs and dog food. I can't wait to find out what it is!

I really need to quit too. I did the vapor & the gum when I was pregnant but then a few months ago went back. I quit once before for 7 years. It's just soooo hard. You deserve a lot of credit for quitting. Big time!!

See what Amy started. I'm shocked that so many of us women are smokers. I tried the vaping too (expensive one) and tried some cinnamon juice...yuck! But I still use it in my tree stand hunting (not the cinnamon haha) or on long trips in hubbys vehicle.
Maybe we all need to form a support group and quit together. But I ain't ready for that yet. Lol

So while I hate the idea of leaving our beautiful, beloved 1822 farmhouse, I really would like to have some acreage and room for a horse, a couple of beef, more turkeys and chickens, a couple of ducks...

After 30 minutes of searching I found the first viable candidate, about 30 miles away.  Gonna try to take tomorrow afternoon off to go see it.  

A creek runs through it, paved road frontage, some woods, some tilled fields, a couple of barns, rolling hills, a Victorian farmhouse with a wraparound porch...

As stupid as it sounds I need reliable cellular signal and high speed internet, those are requirements for my job.  If I can get them, it will be a serious contender.

And I couldn't live without high speed either, just a fact of life these days.

You sound like my hubby. Yall can have it! I like a fillet or strip. Can eat the middle of a rib eye, he cleans up my scraps! No fat here. (except bacon!!)

I know!! When I admitted to that, I was thinking to myself, "sure, they're all health nuts for sure and you're gonna look like a redneck bumpkin smoking cigs on the front porch in an old rocker...." Well, I probaby still look like that, but at least I feel better I'm not the only one pumping my lungs with toxins...lol

Aww thanks. He won't hold still for good pics outside. I just took a few decent ones, but too late. I got lucky with that one in my kitchen haha. There are some awesome photos for the calendar, so I dont expect anything. I just couldn't help but submit it. And you helped name him!
