There's so much wrong with that statement that it would take a whole other thread to debate it - so I'll just drop it before SC gets depressed that I'm dragging down "his" thread.
He would use more than the knuttsOh... I just thought that was your brother...
Only down hill!I actually haven't tried taking it up very steep, so I'm not sure.
If you do, or hubby does, please let me know how it does? Thanks... a mower, generater and utv in one is perfect if it'll go back up the hill, lol...![]()

That is very true. Insurance does play a big part in it, especially with medicare. My father's insurance is awful!!!! That is a very good point.Even worse than plagarism!!!
Well said Amy. I lay a lot of the blame for the current state of the medical profession on: the dictates of the insurance industry. Then there's the whole "CYA" mentality. Documentation is key to preventing frivolous litigation. So, the medical staff have to document up one side and down the other. And... their treatment approach is often dictated by insurance reimbursement and protocol, not to mention... the whole CYA: when expensive diagnostics are often ordered, "just because". I can't tell you how often I've refused a certain diagnostic because I did not see the benefit of it to my particular situation. I am not your typical compliant patient!!! Don't get me wrong. There is a time and place for diagnostics. But... they are often thrown around without thought. For example: a shoulder injury which presents as muscular in nature... the whole insurance protocol of demanding an X-ray... followed by therapy, with-holding the MRI until after all else fails. When... in actuality, the MRI SHOULD be the first course of action. A torn rotator cuff will not show up on X-ray, and no amount of therapy will restore that tear.
My best friend's oldest son is autistic. He's a high function austic, but I believe he is only as high functioning as he is because he was diagnosed very very early, before preschool and she found an awesome special needs program in their district that did wonderful in teaching him and his parents how to teach him and deal with the "differences". The hardest part of their journey I think has been with the public school system. He's going to be 14 this year I believe. It was a mistake to put so many silkie only wanted to put one still don't know how I did that . two things . other than Friday and chicapee both being nurses I had a doctor and friend who we lost to a polo accident who was a saint. put my leg back together after a skiing accident . he was also my friend . because of him I was able to ski again and to teach my kids and others . Kids with special needs . My sons doctor is great with him . she Talks to him even though she knows he cant talk back to her . medical people are people and like all people there are good and bad . people who are there for the money and people who really care and I've seen both .
Oh... I just thought that was your brother...
