She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Well you defiantly shouldn't feel guilty whatsoever. There are so many variables to take into consideration when incubating let alone shipped eggs. She may have been the one that got stuck for 2 hours zipping I will check my notes. But you are not to blame. All sorts of things can go wrong with every type of baby even with human babies. DO NOT FEEL BAD. She is giving me some thing to do. Ha.

You are wonderful, you know that? :hugs

A little high, but not worrysome on day 5. How many channels do you have, and how many are you putting water in?
It's got a rectangular channel in the middle and 1 channel on either side of that. I haven't wanted to move the eggs since they are shipped eggs so I've been sticking a hose with a funnel in the end in the vent hole and putting water in that way, I've been adding enough to probably fill 1 channel.

Do you know that the depth of water doesn't change humidity? It's the surface area that raises humidity, not the volume. If you are spreading enough water in all the channels to fill one, then your humidity will be higher. Fill one all the way, and if that gives you your desired humidity, you won't have to refill as often. If it's still too low, fill another

I have a couple sponges, 1 of them is real small, probably 1x2 inches, if I wetted that, do you think that would be enough to keep the humidity at 30ish%?
