I think the blacks photograph better. The look very similar to the blues in person, but it doesn't show in photos.

Do you lay them down flat or have them more vertical in an auto-turner? How's your hatch rate on shipped? And what incubator are you using? After talking with you, I only let my new batch sit for 2 & 1/2 days and started tilting.
It's confusing. I have a staggered hatch going. First batch was a total bust. Second batch, I'm down to 3/18. Both of those were from the same person and just terribly damaged. So, I set a third batch and tonight will start day 4. I could see veining starting in at least half. But the shells are super thick and it was only day 3 when I checked, so I'm hoping I get a couple babies! Thanks for thinking of me!!And I think I missed something, is Ruby having trouble with her newest hatch? Weren't those the impeccably shipped eggs? Am I off base? I'm so behind!
I'm going to get some for the chicken waterers. It should last till spring for when I do ducks, right? I'll keep it sealed and in a dry place.
I love that pool! I was going to ask where you got it but I saw your next post. Who is the maker?Thanks! I realize I'll need to scrub it. I was just worried about chemicals, since they drink it too. I didn't scrub it last night because I started late, but I'll order some of this for next time. My pool is 5'x5' square and 14" deep, so it holds 250-300 gallons of water. I clean it maybe once a month. I'll have to figure out how much of that stuff to use.

The eggs habe kept me busy amd that helps alot. But when withdrawals hit nothing really helps but sleep and the bad thing is it's hard to sleep when you're withdrawing. You feel completely exhausted but can't sleep. Cold and hot at the same time. Sweating and shivering. Restless legs. The list goes on. I haven't locked down just yet, day 18 officially starts in 3 hours so I'm going to candle 1 last time and trace the air cells and then lockdown at 1.
