I have another CLB boy. I hatched 3, kept 2. gave one to chicapee. I have 4 girls also.

I remember, you had a decent ratio... especially compared to my hatches, lol... just wasn't sure if you still had both boys... looks like that one has a fairly straight comb, but hard to tell... have only gotten a couple from my roo with crooked ones, but you'll want to keep the straightest one...

honestly I think he thought that because I didn't know ANYTHING about Bator's and hatching that I was an easy $ made. What he doesn't know is I learn fast, research what I don't understand, and take lots of advice. My hubby bought me a little 48 egg cheapo Bator to use until he can get me a new one. He told me he was only buying one more so I better get the one I want.....soooooo...I set the bar high I want a 300 egg capacity Brinsea. 1800.00$ price tag but he said I better get the one I want....I know, I know, I'm a smarty pants...lol. I would be happy with 180 egg capacity. I order a lot of shipped eggs, I'm trying to establish different breeds.

300 that's a lot of eggs better get big big big brooders also . I get the feeling your going to be doing a lot of work . o dear lord another chicken slave .
