She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Trust me, I know how you feel. I had a horrible batch of shipped eggs that went through the ringer and none hatched! I was wondering about your bator too. That's why I was asking if you were checking the gauges against a trusted thermo & hygro. Why don't you give them a candle and see what's going on?
I know mom :(

Can I do that during lockdown? I guess it doesn't matter if they are dead huh?

I'd check real carefully for any pips first. Even ones that might be pointed down. But I would take a look too. See if the air cells are drawing down too. I bet your temps are lower than the unit says, causing delay :fl

Honestly since you have concerns, I think it will be ok to open and check really quick. I had the heater in my incubator go out and it was blowing cold air on all the pips for an hour or two and there were no issues with the membrane. You don't have external pips, it will be ok.

Did they look the the membrane had drawn down? Right before internal pip the membrane grows dramatically. If the chick has already died then this won't happen.

Two looked significantly larger. Still didnt see any movement, but it was only like 20 seconds. The eggs didn't feel very warm but i did run my hands under hot water because they were cold before handing them.

I wouldn't throw in the towel yet. Day 28 is just a guideline, and if some cells are much larger, then the duckling could have been resting. Did you look at the pointy end? Did it look really full or clear?
