I'm 35 but I look a little old for my age, unfortunately

Sounds like the perfect roo. How old is he?

I had the feed bucket in hand one day and jerk reaction I swung at him. The red end of the bucket came flying off and I thought I had decapitated him, lol. He kinda looked dazed for a bit and then shook it off. He stayed his distance for a few days but then started testing me again.

I really think a lot of men do, lol.

Ditto. I just set 40 eggs in the bator. Surely one will come out a gentleman

I'd be inviting that bad boy to dinner. Get some hatchlings, then eat him.

I love it! My GD used to go out and sit on a hay bale and read books to the chickens. They'd all line up against the fence and listen with rapt attention.

Why thank you very much. I consider it an honor that you think I look 25... since I'm 59. There may also be one or two who have me beat. We did an age survey a couple thousand posts back!!!

Hahahahahaha!!!!! That is super cute. Mine like to jump on my 3 year old shoulders. Esp if she's holding another one....they get jealous and want her attention also.

So... Question to those of you who use a carton for hatching those eggs with detached air cells, what do you mean when you say you cut the carton?
I've got bantam eggs in hatching and I'm in need of specifics regarding the carton. Last time I did it with full size eggs and did it with the cups cut away from the carton which resulted in the first chicks out of shell knocking everyone else over...
Tips are greatly appreciated.:-)
