Well its pineapple juice, blue curacao, patrons orange liqueur,and vodka. Shaken in a martini shaker and mixed with a splash of club soda for fizz.

I had to slow down because I only drank 1/3 of it and I was feeling pretty good.

Its good to be back! Ive missed our night owl chats! Ive been getting up before dawn with the cow :eyeroll can you imagine? really i got em started of the calf starter now lickn out the bucket today its exciting! Bout time to haul over the old bullsh*t and replace bedding already!

Do you watch the calf auction up there? Now that ive been inside two diff auction houses i wonder how yours measures to these. One of them has a totally better atmosphere than the other... Theyre both smaller than i imagine yours too. Theres never a car, hardly a horse... Some people sell birds outside of one, but theyre not auctioned at either one. Should i search furthure and wider for another?

I remember the dark morning calf feedings... no thanks...

Ours isn't big, but they sell everything from the kitchen sink to cattle... (not joking either, they had a sink at one, lol)

If you don't need the poultry selling outlet, then probabky no need to bother looking farther... but if you do, then yes...

I never buy poultry from auction though, only sell... and once it hits the ground there, it don't come back here...

Neighbors son said he got MG or Coryza from buying and selling back and forth from the auction and a flea market... wiped out his whole stock and he had to start over... won't risk that... ever...

OMG... someone please help me!! The last chick to hatch will not shut up, lol. She just keeps crying. Loudly! The only time she's quiet is when I'm holding her or if I make a nest for her in my lap and cover her up. Will she eventually stop if I put her in the brooder and wait it out? She's driving me crazy!!
ETA: This has been going on since 5 when she hatched. She's been quiet for the last 30 minutes or so cause I've had her in my shirt.

That sounds so good right now!! I was a big drinker in college. I loved it, but then it just fizzled out for me when I started having kids 10 years ago. Haven't really had a drink In years. Maybe when I'm done breastfeeding this one, I'll find a specific cocktail I like and treat myself once in a while. Nothing wrong with that!

Does she do this even when she's with other chicks? The surefire trick to get them to shut it is to hang a feather duster over the brooder that they can cuddle in.
