She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Nope... just like with humans, boys have an unlimited supply of BS to spread around...

This is Grata Barn, Grata for short. I'm still trying to figure out how to pronounce it. # 8 hatched around 3 AM and he's doing fine also. His feet are curling but I put some boots on him so he should be fine. I'll post a pic of him in a second, he won't hold still long enough for me to get a good pic right now.
She's beautiful! I like the name. YAY for #8!

As long as what ever you use is accurate, you should be ok. I am a bit OCD with thermometers, so have at least 3 and sometimes 5 in my bator, move them around, and calibrate with EVERY hatch. When you know the intricacies of your bator, you'll settle into what works best for you. I also put in some air baffles to help eliminate hot spots as well as direct air to the cool spots. Tin foil is my friend!!!
Air baffles? Do you have any pictures? This sound interesting. I have an LG9300 forced air and it seems odd to me that the heater is placed as it is. I would think should go around everything.

Thank you :D

@RavynFallen what is your humidity when incubating duck eggs?

We're super humid here, so I run them no higher than 30%... any higher and they had tons of goo in the ones that did hatch...

Whew... thank you, I was worried it would creep up on me in a week or so and take them all from me.

Nah, all good... it is yolk sac infection so it happens before or during hatch...

K, awesome. Now with the wild type down pattern, is it the same as any other chick with chipmunk strips, can I tell the males from females by the eyeliner and distinct "v" on the head?

I would say no... only a few breeds that hatch out wildtype are sexable at hatch... and some of those have lost that too...
