My first 5 fuzzy butts hatched this morning. Not sure how well you can see em but there is 1 bantam ameraucana and 4 Mille fleur D'Uccles. I think one is hiding in the lower right corner during this shot. Will post a better photo tomorrow. 8 eggs left to hatch... Crossing my fingers that they're just a little slow.

Come on, little fuzzy butts! I'll be interested to see some good pictures of the Mille fleurs. I was tempted to buy some chicks last spring that were in the next town over.

Monty doesn't Cock or Doo. He goes Ooooh uuuhh Ooooh. He sounds like he's in puberty. Not very gruff and deep of a noise.

It's not good for your house, either! Yes, you should be fine with that application. My GQF cabinet incubator uses lamp cord for the wiring from the turner timer motor to the power supply.

I knew a bit about wire gauge from college but electrical is a whole new ball game. Thank you.

Nice looking batch, especially those Legbars... I'm trying to figure out why the chicks that hatch from eggs I don't keep always look better than the ones I hatch... Got rest, feel like I have a hangover today... flockin rain is irritating me, got too much to do and I'm not a duck for cripes sake... :/ Ordered that varmit pea shooter, will feel much better once it's here... hope you get some progress on those cabinets, you need those up and running, my friend...
