You do own and know how to operate a shotgun, yes????

He has excellent colors and really pure white ear lobes and a very straight comb for a CLB roo. So I want to try and get some babies from him ....maybe a few will be nice.. Anyway.
When they are free ranging he usually runs but in his coopocket and run I have to bend down some....which means closer to his level so....he tries to get me.
Fun!!!!! I went last year as a zombie...so this year I am a chicken farmer.. lol!!
Mine has a great straight comb, but you'll need his good white earlobes to breed into them... if not for that, he'd be stew no question... :/
So guess who learned how to crow today??? The black pullet in question last week!!!
I guess she wasn't just fighting to establish a higher hen pecking order. I almost peed my pants when I saw her crow!! He looks sooo much like a pullet!!
It's actually a good thing because my main boy has to go. Not only is he mean and I can't walk in the run when he's in there but he's got a major flaw, I found out recently. I want to breed paints and black with silver gene is the best and that's exactly what this one is. So she will become my main man for time being.
Really looked like a pullet... but he is a handsome cockerel!!

I knkw how my boys and girls look as they get older, so telling their sexes is easy for me... other lines are harder as they have different looks and 'tells'...
