She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

With any luck you will have a good hatch. I have never been able to file a claim with USPS. only had two cracked eggs .I have and will always believe with the exception of one batch of eggs the bad hatches have been on my head and my junk incubators. but others have been having bad luck recently  .everyone has to consider this is a very busy time of year for all shipping companies . five weeks till Christmas . they should be on the road no later than tomorrow with the outgoing mail.
Yea, I'm hoping I'll get a decent hatch this time. I also thought about the mail during the holidays. I would've waited til spring to get them but she told me her list for spring is already full so now is the only time I can get them :/ I'm hoping I'll get lucky and they'll get here in a day or 2.

I didn't even see your post. Thank you so much! I will definitely look that up.
Yeah, it's good for me getting birds but I don't know about shipping them. I want to ship my cockerel to WV, have to find out if she found out the details on her state yet?.......@WVduckchick
Honestly the mph was so amazing for my chicks. I moved them outside at 3 weeks old and the first night was 36 degrees. They did great! Check it out:

also, maybe you can put a thermometer out there and run out and check it before bed to see what the temps are.
What is an mph? Lol, I've seen y'all talk about it before but never figured out what it was.

I made a call to our authorities and was told they were not allowed into WV, but I haven't done any further checking. I need to see what else I can find out, just been swamped at work, or BYCing more than I should lol
I'm off tomorrow for some long distance errands, so I should be able to make some calls. I'm sorry I haven't done more yet. I thought maybe you sold him, which I would not blame you if you can. Dont get me wrong though, I'd still love to have him if we can make it work.

West Virginia

No person shall import any bird that is from a flock that is known to be infected with pullorum/typhoid or that is from an area under quarantine for Avian Influenza or Viscerotropic Velogenic Newcastle Disease. The commissioner requires that any bird that is imported into this state be accompanied by a statement completed and signed by the owner of the bird upon entry into this state that the bird has been free from disease for the 30 days prior to the importation of the bird and did not originate from a flock known to be infected with pullorum/typhoid; and United States Department of Agriculture Form 9-2 from the tester stating that the birds have been tested for pullorum typhoid within 3 months prior to the date of the importation; or a United States Department of Agriculture Form 9-3 from the tester indicating that the bird has originated from a flock that is not infected with pullorum/typhoid.

Thanks Ravyn, I had read that, and called the agriculture office. That's who told me No, but she didn't even know the post office shipped live birds! Lol I found some possible loopholes for "pets" but was still researching, trying to find a way. I live very close to Ohio border and work with several Ohio residents, so I was going to check that too.

Napdog thank you! That might be a viable option too, we aren't that far apart. (hubby just got back from out your way)
