She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Jay fixed the stinky water problem hallelujah! He added a 275 gallon tank, that has 2 large fish tank bubblers, a filter and an ozonator. You should have seen all the rust come out of the faucets a second pump and pressure tank. I am soooo happy. No need for chemicals. An added bonus we have over 300 gallons of stored water in case of power outage during hurricanes.

On a sad note, I finished another coop, but when I was catching all the juvenile boys to move over I accidently killed one if the lavender orps. I must have broken his neck. I felt sick. I cried. The rest of them are happy in there bachelor pad. Will get picks tomorrow.

Yay on the water, so sad on the cockerel. Strange things happen...

The little sick chick has made an almost complete recovery :) I didn't give her Corid cause when I went to get it they had sold out (I don't think they keep alot in stock) so I decided to give her some OTC and the next day after the first dose she had made a complete 180 and was eating and drinking on her own and had enough extra energy to fly out of her box and walk around my closet pecking at every little thing she saw. I still have her inside and on the OTC for the next few days til I'm sure she's 100% again and then I'll put her back out with her hatchmates.

ETA: I'm going to TRY to get some more pics of them tomorrow (they are VERY active) so I can post them. They have changed sooo much. They don't even look like the same birds. There are some very interesting and beautiful patterns going on.

Welcome back...thought maybe you'd been swept out to sea over there.

Wow, what a freak thing. I was trying to catch one of my golden sebrights the other day, ended up catching a leg when she flew upward. My brain didn't react fast enough to let go, and I held on to one leg. Pulled her into my chest and she was fine, but I thought to myself "that coulda been bad!" I'm sorry you lost one. :hugs

Glad Jay got the water situation resolved.

Lol, nope, still here!! Been trying to find a new fridge before Thanksgiving and been spending alot of time on Craigslist. We've been using a mini fridge since ours crashed and there is no way I'll fit Thanksgiving leftovers in a mini fridge, lol. Also been nursing the little gal back to health. Thankfully she's almost ready to rejoin her brothers and sisters. And lastly I've been preparing for my next hatch :bun :yiipchick Hopefully this will finally be a good hatch for me :fl I can't wait to set them!!

@RavynFallen I'm sitting outside and I can hear my neighbors female calls, all the way at my house (he's 4 houses away!). I thought of you! One more week, not even! When's lockdown?
