Mine don't care; I count myself fortunate to even find them in the coopI would sooner think that she was getting ready to start laying. My hens prefer to lay where there are eggs.

LOL. That's one thing I can say about my girls. They may not use the nest boxes, but the lay consistantly in the same place(s) in the coop. I've only found two or three eggs outside the coop, ever.Mine don't care; I count myself fortunate to even find them in the coop
She is not broody but laid her very first little pullet egg! It's so stinking cute. She's from the very first eggs I ever hatched, 6 months ago. I'm a proud mama today!

Got tickets.
I could really go nuts with the exclamation points here and put ross to shame. haha Good seats, too; right by the stage. The sale was nuts; shows sold out in minutes. Fans who didn't get tickets are pretty livid. Scalpers have tickets from the same area we are in on stub hub for over $600, and they are selling. We paid 80+fees. I thought about selling ours, but I have never seen them live and it's been a tough year, so I decided against it. Gonna keep them and freak out for two months instead. Besides that, it just isn't right, imo, to mark tickets up that much. Some people are spending a large portion of their income to make it to these shows. Tool fans are. . . well, we're special. lol I just couldn't do my OG's that way.
I'm dying to hear that interview you're so sick of. lol I didn't know they replayed stuff like that. maybe I'll sign up for Octane after all.
The Puscifer show was soooooo sick!! I can't even convey how amazing it was. My voice was gone by the end of it. The entire band was amazing. Carina Round sounds even better live than in studio. Puscifer show is my avatar. Everywhere.
I digress. . . .![]()
Cool. I didn't know that. Makes sense. Micro convection!

lol I'm still with you. We have TWO eggs left in the fridge. I've been hanging on to them for a few weeks. lol I just can't bring myself to consider buying eggs. It's ridiculous. But I only have 11 hens of laying age, so. . . no where near your scale of ridiculousness.
Pretty sure we are going to have some threats carried out tomorrow. We have three roosters that have been pets for over a year and 7 of those barnyard mix cockerels that are just eating up our feed and adding to the mess. I am cleaning the floor of the coop in the grow out pen twice a week now and it's just too much. They are pretty though. About 4 months now. Oh well, time for dinner!
Kick em off of your back deck!! That's what you can do! We just got finished dealing with that issue, too. The mess was less fun than the wake-up call.
@rossfam06
I didn't know you had that many chickens.

Jay fixed the stinky water problem hallelujah! He added a 275 gallon tank, that has 2 large fish tank bubblers, a filter and an ozonator. You should have seen all the rust come out of the faucets a second pump and pressure tank. I am soooo happy. No need for chemicals. An added bonus we have over 300 gallons of stored water in case of power outage during hurricanes.
On a sad note, I finished another coop, but when I was catching all the juvenile boys to move over I accidently killed one if the lavender orps. I must have broken his neck. I felt sick. I cried. The rest of them are happy in there bachelor pad. Will get picks tomorrow.

Well just call me crazy. I collected some eggs from my girls. Then I set them. 15 to be exact. I am checking fertility to see if Braveheart is upto snuff. These are pullet eggs. So I might be a Grandma in 21 days.
