So talk to me about fully formed chicks that are dying in shell? I just had 4 F2 Olive eggers and 4 Marans make lock down and all died in shell. One of them pipped on day 23 and then died. The lady I got the eggs from said she has the same problem because the shells are so thick...

Thoughts?

When I hear that, the first thing I think is high humidity, especially in marans. That is the one breed I will dry (25-30%) incubate

I had read that high humidity could be a factor, but I ran the incubator at around 35% and had the eggs in cut down cartons. I guess it could have still been too high, but I felt like I was pretty low.
