Perfect. I'll try that next time. I felt like I was getting the hang of incubating on the last batch, but this one reminded me I have a lot left to learn. 

My next try is going to be on shipped eggs, so I hope I have a bit better luck.

I incubate everything except marans at 35-40%
I have my best marans results at 30 or a little less

My first batch of turkeys is due Mon...

I prefer similar breed, but I mean similar egg size, shell thickness, coating, etc...

Hi gang,. I'm on day 11 with a mixed batch of Orloffs and half-Orloffs. Pulled 3 clears yesterday and have 13 left. Brinsea Adv 20 is set at 99.6 with humidity at 35%. Will candle Sunday and see how my air cells look.

I was thinking a batch of chocolate chip cookies and milk I can do those in a hour .they feed me I don't have to feed them .

about to move all my BCM pullets into the laying coop nesting boxes are bedded feed and water in place .all I have to do is get by that rooster . he is like a lion pacing the cage in the ZOO . trying to get my nerve up thought I would check in . dang frogs done hoped the pond again .so I guess I'll get my whip and chair and go at it .

you know you can't leave Phil alone no telling what he will eat
