Some of the quail

And all my ducks in a row...

Armand & Katherine

And poor little ugly Molly
Ducks in a row!

I thought the quail were getting picked up? They look big with the camera that close.

WV love them!!!! Does that seabright really have legs that noticeably tited or is it the light?? I really like that OEGB roo! And Armand still makes me :love

As for Ugly, you haven't seen ugly till you'e seen the feet on those silkies that I took from my sister. :sick  Ugly!!! Godzilla scaley feet. A couple missing toes too. I think they will probably see their way out this spring. I'm already making plans to move Willy to my sister's even though I don't want to. If I downsize the bigger coop and get the girls to all play nice I can use the first coop for just my silkies and showgirls or at least have a silkie roo in there so all the other silkies don't end up with mixed chicks next year.

I think she was taking a step, although they do stand a little odd. The roos stand with their wings pointing down.

Armand is the man, but I tell ya, he's a little hellion. :D had to put him in his place again today.

I'd say you do need to separate all your silkies if you are going to ever get your showgirls. I don't even know how you get a NN?

tited The one picture they look quite greenish and I was wondered if they were that color in person. I am guessing you were guessing I meant tilted??
I have plenty of nn's and one F1 SG from my nn and silkie. I want a clean neck nn though. All mine have huge bow ties. I could technically have other girls in with the silkies as long as I only have a silkie roo or (roos) in the coop with the girls and don't let them all range together at the same time. That way the silkies are only laying silkie fertilized eggs and same for the SG if I ever get that far. I would like just a coop for the silkies and nns together though.

I totally forgot about her! I hope she does well and can't wait to see what she gives you!
She is sitting tight! I can't see a thing!
That's awesome!!
Thanks! I hear two sets of peeping now! She only had 4 eggs, so we'll see.
cool....... I think this summer some time, if we get a broody hen, we will let her hatch some, just so the kids can see that too.....
The kids are super excited to see her with the babies. As soon as I told them they were hatching, they both ran downstairs as fast as they could before I could tell them that she still was sitting on them and you couldn't see anything.
A few of the Golden Sebrights.
Wow! I love them. They are so cool looking. The quail got huge!...well compared to being babies, they're all feathered in!
