New pictures of her/him this week! S/he has sprouted a mohawk! Not sure if this is going to be a permanent feature or if it will fill out or sleek down? But maybe it will help some of you with more experience discern what she is! As always, thank you for your help!

I think it looks just like a Crevecouer, it just doesn't have a vaulted skull. Thats seem to be the only reason the crest looks small.

So right now the debate is between a La Fleche and Crevecoeur? Glad to have it narrowed down, in any case! She's not intended as a show bird so the quality of her breeding isn't too much of a concern for me. Is it possible she's a mix?

I am waiting to see also what everyone thinks it is, as I also have 2 that look just like it!

Bought them from the "assorted polish" pen at the feed store, who also gets it's birds from Ideal. I had a feeling they were not polish when I bought them due to the muffs and tiny puffs on the head. Also they appear to be more "bulky" than a polish chick. I believe mine might be about the same age as yours is. They also are starting to get that "alfalfa cow lick" hairdo as I call it.
