I need to specify... she is not getting two eggs down the chute at once. One must have came at 7:30 this morning in the pool when I them out of the pen, then another came in her favorite spot....around 3pm. She came up to my sliding glass around 3pm.... I guess to tell me "hey mama I got something for ya"All good! I was just making sure of amount and backing up Kathy's advice...
That's not good... looks like she is also getting 2 eggs down the chute at once too...
Is she your only layer, for sure?
Really? How weird!!!I found a soft shelled egg from my Buff this afternoon on the ground.![]()
Yes, I have one drake and one hen..... I'm 6ft tall and was standing right by the water that they were at......which caused the drake feather to disappear.....sucks being so tall sometimesAnd in your first post, I saw that he has a curly tail feather?
Me too! Wowzers.... what a day!!!It's possible that her first stuck soft egg caused all the other to back up. Hopefully this is the last of them and giving the calcium will help lay shell down on the next ones.
