The pill is big enough to give orally as is. See above video. Giving 1.5 ml by way of anything other than from a syringe I find too tricky, stressful, and time-consuming.

Sorry to say but this is not going to happen, 1st off she will not let me hold her.....let alone shove a pill down her throat. I do not feel comfortable doing this.

I locked her up and feed her the new feed, she ate oystershells out of my hand about a silver dollar size amount, she is already stressed enough. I dissolved a calcium pill in 4oz of water....and put frozen peas in it. I will wait for the peas to thaw and give it to her this way.

I just went and checked the pool and low and behold I found the missing two eggs.....the one from the other day and what I can assume today’s!

I'm sorry your getting conflicting information..I'm telling you she is fine although your worring too much.
Tums actually help too..Just disolve two in a cup of water..
Anyways this is silly and she is a new layer that's system is regulating to lay eggs.

If you ultra sound her reproductive organs you would see she is plume full of yolks that need to be developed into eggs and it's common for more to be expelled as a young layer..A hard shell and a soft at the same time..The eggs are being processed before the shell is hardened..

The stress from being the only Hen with that Drake probably has her expelling her eggs before they are ready..Drakes have a 4 inch Penis and she is possibly stressed out..Sorry....Just what I know...I live and breath Ducks and take all my information seriously..I do my very best to be informative with accurate information..Remember I have my own Ducks too that I apply my management too..

That's really good news, and it's mildly bad news. Good news is that nothing's stuck, and neither membrane is yellow, the bad news is that it is *never* normal for a hen to lay 3 soft-shelled eggs in a row, especially after laying a normal shelled egg a day since November 6. Do your best to get as much calcium in her as possible (300 to 500 mg per day).
