Shell less egg

HELP....our White Leghorn has been nesting for the last couple of days with no luck laying. Today we found this in the garden....

Now she's acting lethargic, tail feathers down and just not her normal self. Not sure if this means she's egg bound? We live in Las Vegas and it's been extremely hot here so we thought production had stopped due to the increase in temps.

Thoughts? Advice? Desperate to help our little Leghorn.

One of my girls, I have 10, just did this 2 days in a row! it no sooner came out of her, they all attacked it, and one carried it away. it actually stayed together! will they become egg eaters, if they get the chance to eat these shell-less eggs? I cannot stop them from getting them. they seem to just fall out anywhere, and yes for those of you who are going to respond, I am feeding them layer Feed & oyster shell free choice! my girls are all 16 weeks old my first one started laying at 14 weeks. there are only two laying regularly good eggs. I see no problems with them. I do not know who is laying these snotty shell less eggs with no firm membrane at all. some have laid the shell less eggs with a firm membrane so you can still pick them up. this problem just started yesterday and happened again today. What should I do? Just wait and see?
