Shell less layer

Do you think, if there was a rooster to fertilize the eggs, a chick would actually survive in one of those eggs? Im just curious.
Not in a soft shelled egg.
I had to trick my Pullets to eat the oyster shell..I put a little scratch grain mixed in it for a few days and now they all use it..

That's a good trick....I did similar but by sprinkling some oyster shell on top of feed tray....once they got a taste they started eating it out of oyster shell container.

I have 4 hens 2 are ex batts, 1 blackrock and a blue ranger, I also have 2 white campbell ducks with them. They all get along and lay well except the blue, she lays often but no shell, occasionally I get a very soft membrane but usually nothing. Her diet is good and no problem with the other hens eggs, she's perfectly healthy otherwise...any suggestions ?
