I agree. I can imagine she wants to get a little distance from my flock to figure out what her game plan is. I hope she realizes she's safer if she sticks by. We will see what fate has in store.

My girls sharing some fish food and mealworms. I saw a mole sneaking in and out. I'd assume he isnt any harm? Their coop where they sleep has a floor, just not the bigger pen.

With lucky being separated the other males are looking to each other. Yikes plucky is losing feathers on his neck, his wings are ok so far. Wow must be nice to darkwing...she doesn't look touched.

Those boys can sure be rough on each other too. Not much you can do except give everyone separate spaces and that is pretty hard to do.

Yeah boys are boys no matter the species...

Do you think tonight I should put ostara in with the other ducks in the coop for bed, if she is going to be let out Sunday ...or that's a bad idea? I just let everyone but plucky in the coop they left her alone. Just for food and to see lucky. They followed darkwing out so currently it's just lucky and ostara at the moment but they are getting better around her.

All you can do is try it and see how it goes. Hopefully it will go good.

Maybe at 630 i will put them all together but plucky and monitor how how treat her and if it's ok then ill put them together and have plucky in her coop.
