I didn't post about her illness because I searched first and found everything I needed to know about symptoms and cures for worms. But, I have to come here now and share that the advice I found here (practical advice that was NOT in my Chicken Bible!) saved my dear Gertrude who looked quite ill indeed. After her Safeguard-on-bread treatments, she's completely back to her crazy Gertie self and reestablishing her status as queen.
