She's killing me.

Since African Greys talk, I know what my bird is feeling very clearly. When she wants me, she says, "Come here". When she was egg-bound, she stopped talking and just huddled. When she wants to breed, she is very clear, so I give her more dark time to get less eggs! She squats like a chicken hen, and opens her wings for the cock to grab.

I give my African Grey hen less light to stop eggs. She gets lights out at 7pm, on at 7 am! Egg-layers need increasing day length. Your hen is SAD that the solstice passed her by before she was ready to lay!
She's giving me the SAD's. I would give the dang chicken a Ferrari if she'd just stop the grandma gripes. Nobody wanted to go roost tonight my usual put them up in two groups didn't go as planned they all wanted to bicker made me stand out in the rain waiting to lock the coop. I feel terrible I literally cussed some chickens. I have some making up to do in the morning. Sometimes I think they work together just to see if they can drive me completely insane. :)

I have a faverolles the same age as yours, mine doesn't look anywhere near pol! I'm jealous. I'd take the complaining if it meant she was getting ready to lay!

Lets see a photo of your drama queen! Here is one of mine, I have 2 and neither are looking like a grown up yet!
