Just ordered six Shetland Hen SR chicks from Greenfire Farms last week from their last hatch of this year with a ship date of 11-7-2022. I am a little concerned with their shipping this time of the year, but I live along the central VA/NC border so not all that far of a trek from Florida in relative terms. Looking forward to their arrival and how they turn out as I have been interested in getting chicks from them for a while. And the 20% off deal helped tip the scales. I'll update this thread on my experiences moving forward.

Congratulations! I have an order for 10 Shetland chicks from Greenfire Farms expected to ship on 10/31. I'm worried about the journey too. It's warm, but they'll need to make it all the way out to Hawaii... The permit was approved so hoping everything goes smoothly.

Chicks arrived safely and a day earlier than expected! They were pretty thirsty and hungry, but are content and resting up now Seems like a nice mix of colors, I'm excited to watch them develop

What cute little ones! You really did get a great assortment of colors, I see some gold and red duckwing and some extended black (could be birchen) bases. You will have a lot to chose from going forward. Do you have any particular color or pattern you're looking for?
