That one is my ex-boyfriend..She thought, eying one in particular. But said, "Nothing. Just not sure about strangers. Your dinner is by the fire." She walked to her cabin.
"Cool, I'll see ya in a little while." Seth called to Jadyn before heading back to the plane to finish checking the primary systems.
Jimmy Sarnophski, the one she had been eying, looked over towards her but didn't recognize her. The 'fog of war' had clouded some of his memories. Then he remembered one of the things he had brought with him on the trip that he thought might come in handy. He jumped down from the nose turret, which would be his station in the plane when the time came, and ran over to the backpack he had brought with him. He rummaged through the contents and pulled out a small metal box with 2 LCD (Liquid-Crystal-Display) touch screens, a bunch of little LED's, and a small tube coming out of the top that split into 8 different little wires with a small suction-cup on the end of each one. One of the other boys, Gabriel Owens, walked up to him and said "Whacha got there Jim?"
"It's one of my dad's inventions; this was the last one he made before he was found and..*sniff*..executed by those Sharoni scum for theft of their advanced technology. He gave it to me and told me to protect it and use it to help the human race win the war. He called it the 'DNA-reset-inator'. What it does is you stick these suction-cups on the wires onto the head, chest, and abdomen of the subject and then turn it on. Then it will revert the DNA of the subject back to normal from a certain point, so it can pretty much heal almost any wound. It can even bring someone back from a comatose most of the time; although, if the wounds that caused the coma are bad enough or the coma is deep enough, it won't really work."
"Your dad always did have some great ideas in that head of his." Gabe said, placing his hand on Jimmy's shoulder to comfort him.
"Yeah, he always did..." Jimmy replied before setting the DNA-reset-inator down on one of the crates and walking back over to the plane to finish the work on his gun turret.
