Nikki heard the explosion. "What is he doing?!" She pushed past Jadyn and stormed into the lab.

James was trying to clear the smoke from the room.

Nikki coughed when she came in. "James! Are you okay?!"

Mali was gripping her wrist painfully, a small burn mark soiling her skin.

"I'm fine!" James coughed, opening a window.

Jadyn ran through the smoke and grabbed Mali's good arm, she pulled her out and away from Nikki.

Mali grit her teeth in serious pain, coughing hard.

Nikki saw Mali get pulled out, she was close to the door. Her jaw dropped, then she had another coughing fit.

Jadyn scowled at Mali. "Be careful around Nikki, cause you're getting awfully attached to James." She hissed.

Nikki, despite her coughing fit and what she had just seen and realized ran into the smoke and searched for her boyfriend.
