"Here, this'll be good." Seth said as he placed one of the High-Altitude flight helmets on Jadyn. The helmet was far too big on her at first, but when Seth pressed one of the buttons on the side, it adjusted itself to be a secrure-but not tight-fit on her head. He then led her to the hanger as Connie was doing a last-minute check of the systems before the launch. The Lucky-13 was standing with its nose pointed about 70 degrees up and was secured to a launch tower that would guide the plane on a rail for the first 150 feet of its flight. The tower also had the ladder and boarding ramp for entering the aircraft. As Connie finished the last-minute checks, she turned to Jadyn and said "You ready?"

(I'm gonna be camping this weekend so I won't be on from Fri. morning until maybe sometime lateron Sun. I might not be on Sun, but I'll be on Mon.)

As Connie climbed into the front cockpit, she looked back and said "Cam down, my ship has an Auto-G-Reduction system that causes us to feel no more than 2.5 G's at any given time. Even though the true G's of the take off would come to about 7 at its peak, you won't feel more than a firm push towards your seat."

(sorry I was gone soooo long, there was a bunch of stuff that we had to go do and I didn't get a chance to get back on)

"Alright, hold on to something if you want to." As she said this, the engines finished their start-up and began to emit a low groan; at this point, Connie had the throttles set just above idle. The noise quickly changed from a groan to a rumble as Connie pushed the throttles up to 40%. The aircraft surged rather than lept forward and accelerated to 120 mph by the time it left the guide rail. At 1000ft Connie slammed the throttles to their stops and lit the after-burners, and the engine noise escalated to a full-out roar. The Lucky-13 gained speed rapidly but the G-reducer did its job well; regardless, Connie couldn't resit shouting "Man I love my job!" as they passed Mach 4.

(No prob. [It's me, Little.])

Jadyn simply sat and held Zak.
