Shipped Black East Indie Ducks- Can't find the air sac??

Hi guys!
Temp is 99.5%
Humidity is kept as close as possible to 55% (I have a high accuracy humidity & temp gauge I've been using as well)

Received the eggs Wednesday morning at 8am, let them set for 24 hours with fat side facing up at room temperature.

Put them in Nurture Right 360 Thursday morning at 8am.

I was originally following the guidelines from Pete's shipped eggs/damaged air cell thread, but I can't seem to find any of the air sacs??


Are any of these viable? The yolks look exactly the same from two days ago. (There's also some black floating things which I'm assuming are "meat" or "blood" spots?)

It takes at least 5 to 7 days to see life and handling eggs constantly isn't good..

I just saw that it can take a few days to see anything noticeable via candling for duck eggs, but I'm not seeing any large air sacs anywhere so I'm hoping that's a good sign.

Shes right, it takes at least a week for anything to really be visible.

Woohoo! I'm seeing growth in 5 out of the 7 eggs!

I saw a few others recommending to keep the humidity lower than 55% if you live in a humid area (I believe VWducks was one of them?) as it's easier to raise the humidity later rather than it being high and dealing with a possibly smaller air sac, so I'm trying that as well.

This is my first ever hatch, so my fingers are crossed!!

I am hatching Black East Indies too. It took me 5 day to see anything. I am keeping my humanity between 28-35%. It took a few days to really see a difference in air cell. But they came around.

They look saddled to me. They can still hatch out completely fine. So long as the veins look good you should be ok.
