Yes but they don't lay very many eggs so that's why I'm not getting those
It's difficult finding hatching eggs in PA. Closest place is about 4 hours away. So I'd rather just order them online.
They are! I'm thinking about just raising them instead of other breeds as well. They're just so friendly! I adore them!
This is my broody, Ludo.
How often does ur lay an egg
I usually get one every other day, but every so often I can get 1 a day for a small period of time.
Ya so that's true as some one said there's lay only about 6 months of the year with an egg about every other day
The eggs arrived in the mail today! I'm a little bummed because lots of them have floating air cells because the seller didn't ship them in a carton (which they should ). Usually those ones tend not to develop.
Other than that, they did a REALLY good job in packing and not one broke! I'm very happy. I got a lot of different colors. 21 days to go.
Have 42 barred rocks being shipped out to me today. Hopefully they all make it safely
YAY!!! I got mine in the mail yesterday and set them in the evening. Today is Day 1 and I already want to candle them! Ahh. I just like to know that something is actually growing. Ya know?
So exiting! I have that problem too. I have to hold myself back from candling every day
