Shipped Egg HELP

Lol, I knew what you meant, but didn't acknowledge it either! Sorry! I'll never use nipple rings so I skipped on past it.

Some people don't like the Brinsea rails, but I like how adjustable they are and can be adjusted to any size egg or carton.

I'm getting the 20 for xmass/bday in December. I will add you to the list of people to get advice from!

Seriously though. That's awesome!

I had no idea that they needed to be tilted 45 degrees. Now I am very worried. And I will try to video the swish if I can.

I have been tilting them as much as the nipple ring will allow. Which is i dont know maybe 65 or 70 degrees. This may be why I am having a hard time. As of now all of my eggs are alive. All 4 of them. How can I tell if they are stuck and what will I need to do if they are. I feel like the worst chick mommy in the world. I guess I need to find some more places to read so I can become more confused lol. I didn't see that they must be at at least a 45*. Do you have something I can start over. It seems as tho I have read so many that I seem to be mixing and matching and it isn't working too well. Like I said my first hatch went well. I think I just need to start over. :-). Do you know what will happen or what could happen if my babies are stuck. Will they die? Ugh I so hope not.

I just want to warn you when your eggs get into growing they will rock themselves right out of the hole which is why I quit tilting them so much. I would come in to turn them and find one or two that decided to go for a stroll in the corner of the incubator. This is why I am so worried. Because after the finding of them in the corner I was afraid they would break when they fell off. But I love the face that the air isn't blocked on any side. Just the small ring where the egg touches the ring. I didn't even think about cutting the egg carton into seperate cups. That makes much more sense to me. Lol. Thank you.

Just be careful because when mine started to wiggle they wiggled out and I found them in the corner of my bator. This is why I wasn't able to turn mine as much. Because after they wiggled out I had to sit them in it a little more upright.which is why I am worried sick now. But I like the fact that they are washable, cheap, and it doesn't restrict any airflow except for the ring around which it sits in. Which I was worried about with the egg cartons but now I see why it doesn't. I tried keeping them all attached and didn't cut down the two sides completely.

If they are all alive then I wouldn't worry so much. It's really to keep them from sticking during the first 8 days and then to replenish their oxygen as you turn all the waste goes to the other side and they get fresh nutrients/oxygen, I believe. So you've done something right because you're 2/3 the way through and they are still alive.
