Let them sit on the counter for 24 hours before you set them. Run a bead of superglue down the crack. Probably won't develop but worth a try.
In the future, have eggs shipped Monday or Tuesday so they don't get caught in transit over the weekend.
I wouldn't set a cracked egg, even if superglued, unless it's from a very expensive rare breed.can I do this trick with the glue if I'm setting shipped eggs under a broody hen? one has a hairline crack in it. In the past a broody ate one of the eggs she was sitting on, probably because it was cracked, and I don't really want my hen to eat glue!
