Shipped Monday no chicks Thursday... :( They are here (friday)

Have you called the distribution center that is closest to you? Perhaps they are there and missed the truck to your post office.

I always call the distribution center out by the airport and let them know the chicks are coming and to call me any time day or night to come get them. They are open 24-7 unless it is a big holiday.

Praying those babies arrive safe and healthy.

See I'm even using cute little smiles again. Don't give up

So sorry.
This is giving me flashbacks!

I ordered through the small order program at Meyers'.
Somebody called me Monday saying my chicks were packaged and they wanted to verify the address.
Since I paid for Overnight Express I expected them Tuesday but no chicks Tuesday, or Wednesday, or Thursday.

Turns out Meyers packed them on Monday but didn't ship until Tuesday. Then the postal service had a 1 day delay.

The chicks arrived on Friday. 40% died that first day, the other 60% survived.

Good luck with your chicks!

Just confirmed they were shipped on Monday.
Looks like they ill try again but not until 4/4

I have 7 I think will make it, 4 others are still alive, but barely out of 24 shipped, 25 ordered. The heat pack in the box was stone cold, if they put in grow gel it couldn't tell.

They had the wrong phone# on the box. thankfully my husband wasn't on time for work so got the call at home as he was rushing out the door. If he hadn't it would have been real late tonight before I got the message and they all would have been gone.

I was suprprised the standard plymouth pullets died and some of the tiny Japanese lived. You would think being twice as big would have made the plymouths hardier.

I contacted MPC right away and they are reshipping on May 11th. they were very good at responding to my anger and upset promptly and professionally. They even modified qty's at my request.

It's been a sad morning checking on them every few minutes to encourage the weak ones to drink and take the newly dead out. It's been a learning experience for several kids who are here at the office today.

I also lost one of my BO layers lastnight, Marigold. I think she had an egg break internally.
