Shipping chicks to VA ?????

Just wondering if anyone else has read the one of the hatcheries
will not ship to VA because of the bloodwork the state requires? HAs anyone shipped chicks or eggs to VA with any problems?

I have shipped to Centreville, Va. from McMurrays many times! No problem at all!

Great! I was worried about expanding my flock. DH is starting to join in on this addiction---umm no it's a project!!

He is looking at meat birds. I am looking towards getting some colored eggs and hatching them with the DDs. Now, I can get back to looking for some new fuzzy butts!!

Everything coming into Virginia must be NPIP certified and MG and AI free.

Most hatcheries are not.

Well, I last ordered chicks from McMurrays hatchery in April and it went smooth as a charm. Maybe they ARE certified? Don't know.
