Here is a package I received last night. Excellent packing if you ask me. Individually bubble wrapped, packed in shredded paper, with another bubble wrap on the outside walls and floor of the box. Bought 36, they sent 41. Only one that looked cracked, but I still incubated it since it looked hairline cracked and not necessarily broken.
Just started incubating today, so not sure of what the results will be. My only comment is that the shredded paper could lead to some water loss in the eggs, but with this being 2 day shipping, and the fact that the eggs were bubble wrapped individually, I am not that worried about it.
Ohh, and one more comment. This shipper (I assume intentionally) packed them all so that the large end of each egg was pointed up. I consider that really good since it kept the air cell where it should be (assuming the postal service did not store my package upside down) and means that my eggs "rested" after shipping wile sitting on my porch for about 6 hours before I got home from work. Since I know they were delivered around noon, and I opened the box around 6, I could take those six hours into account when I decided how long to let them "rest" before incubating. If the shipper had laid the eggs on their sides, or had some upside down, I would have had more troubles...
