hello everyone. I was wondering how I would go about shipping eggs out of the US, particularly to Singapore. If it’s even possible, do I use a normal shipping box and label and just drop it off at my post office like I was shipping in the country?
Thanks!

You can contact the Dept. of Agriculture for assistance since you will need to meet Federal export regulations and you will also need to meet the import regulations for the country that your are shipping to. Hatching eggs are considered live animals and must meet the regulations for live animals.

Hey uh its me dangdag from ebay.I was doing some on research shipping as well and came across this post.Youre cottonwoodsfarm right? I figured that the eggs would be okay if you put a "no xray" alert sticker the package. Also,i dont think there needs to be a permit.ive shipped in knives before and i didnt even need a permit soo i guess the eggs should be fine as long as u label them "food" or "toys".

It is illegal to falsify what you are shipping. Hatching eggs are live animals and do fall under the same regulations as live animals.

Ahaha i know but ive been recieving boxes of knives labelled "toys" feel kinda bad now

This is a point where I have to agree with @R2elk.

Regulations are in place for a reason... to protect our food supply chain. Disease can be present without you knowing it. And I already expressed this on another thread about the same person shipping eggs within the US without proper NPIP papers and all birds originally coming fro NPIP locations certification is NO longer valid once they have arrived at their NON NPIP destination.

It's fun to share our birds and to feel in demand... but it isn't all about money... doing the right thing (according to the law) feels good also. ;)

I’d have to agree with you on that
