No that is not it. When they lay them, I pick them up and I only have one nest box (I only have 4 hens of this particular variety and unless they laid them in shavings, hid them and then picked them up and moved them back into the box themselves is the only way that would be possible with my set up and I doubt that happened) that I pick them up from and they certainly were not incubated. I candle them and many times you can see a "Web" in the egg. If I do not see it, that egg doesnt get shipped.
They were shipped ground on Thursday and didnt get to their location until the following Tuesday - so I am convicned these eggs were shook up and the temp changes from FL to MA were also a factor. I am going to resend eggs to this person because I have no idea what is wrong - but was hoping someone would have run into this before?
