Can't see the picture real well but if it is mostly black this would be your Australorp.

Your australorps will have white on the bottom side and the barred rocks will have it on their top sides I.e. Their heads.

I'm wearing myself out checking on them. So far they are astonishingly active.But there was
the one DOA in the package this morning. . .and then about two hours later, one of the EE just
died. went from healthy and chipper to I found her flat and just about dead less than an hour later,
I tried to give her some save a chick solution because I didn't know if she'd gotten any, but it did
not help. So not I'm fussing over the whole lot of them. Those tiny cochins scared me with how
little they were, but they are sure rambunctious now! And those two little polish chicks are
such loud little drama queens, I keep rushing to see what the ruckus is about. . .

another buff orp from the looks. . ..
that makes one DOA, and two have died. I guess out of 77
chicks it's not too bad, but still. I hate losing them. . .makes me

Sorry for the loss of the 2. Sometimes, the stress of shipment can do this to them. Overcrowding and subsequent ammonia build up might kill them, too. But it seems like you're doing a great job looking after them and keeping things clean, so it might just have been stress. Good luck with your babies!
