That is most likely a question you will have to ask your post master. You will also need to find out if they will even ship live animals from you P.O. and what type of box you will need to ship him in, so it's best to just contact your P.O. about it.

probably $35 or so...depends on weight and container size. You can get shipping boxes from lots of places...you can make one out of thin wood, you can use a plastic storage tote with holes cut in it, you can also purchase them from supply places like Foy's

Oh! You are also going to need to see if it is legal to even ship the rooster into Florida. The state of Virginia is very strict about fowl being shipped in and very strict rules apply.
