Should I be concerned with these Austrolorp chicks wings?

Hello Oily Chick. Thanks for your post. I think our little one had a different problem - it seemed to be some sort of birth defect as she got older (confirmed by a vet - the things you do for your children). She had no control over her wings, they just hung uselessly by her sides and as the feathers grew longer she stepped on them, we had to trim them to keep them short. On one wing the feathers grew in a completely different direction. She was otherwise very happy, running with the other chicks. Unfortunately, when she had a dust bath she had alot of trouble to get up again and one time when we were out for the day she couldn't get up and died (she was about 7 weeks old). I hope you have better luck with your chick.
