should i buy a bread MACHINE? update today october 9

how should i store home made bread? in the fridge or just on the counter covered?

this is my first time making bread like this... yes i have done boxed stuff... banana bread, cranberry etc.
 
Fridge or freezer, in ziploc or similar. Without commercial dough conditioners, it dries out pretty quickly.
 
omg!!!! i made the bread!!! its soooo yummy!!!! ill never ever ever buy bread again!! i made 2 loaves, which is plenty for our family!

i made an italian bread style. i took some pictures,, but our dang computer for some reason is not uploading from the camera! when i get it working, ill post it!

oh and our house smells so yummy!
when i was doing the lock up for the chickens tonight,, they (chickens) must have smelled the bread all over me!! they started attacking me!! ha ha !!

I was looking under the FREE section of craigslist and someone was actually giving one away.

If you have a family - - -these are one of the best investments you will ever make.

I KNOW for a fact - - - there is not a man or boy alive who can resist the smell of fresh baked bread . . . .
I swear mine can smell it all the way to the chicken coop !
 
I saw lots of them in the local pawn shop for $20.

I had a breadman and worked great as I can't get dough to rise in this house for some reason. then the turning thing froze and I can't get a replacement- worked great for 2 yrs.
