Since you got them as adults, some of the motivational techniques on this thread probably aren't a good idea! (Threats, assigning boy names, squeezing, shopping sprees.) They'll just get scared and take even longer.

Spoiling them with lots of pie and pumpkin might work, though. Or adding some cayenne pepper flakes to their food. Some decoy eggs or golf balls in the nest boxes might get them thinking in the right direction.

10 days is a long time to go without eggs. You gonna go to the store or wait it out?

Betty should have laid her egg this evening, but i will count it with tomorrows batch. Isis is squatting like crazy, and her comb is nice and plump and red. I'm betting I'll have a first egg from her within a week!
